Master Sergeant David Thomas is our newest Leaping Leader. Master Sergeant
Thomas is very instrumental in the lives of many young people by
serving as a dedicated role model and the instructor for the Air Force Junior ROTC
program in the area high schools, thank you Master Sergeant David Thomas.

Christina Kulasxa (pronounced coolaska), a 9th grade honor
roll student
at Excelsior Education Center, is February’s honoree. Christina
knows community service first hand and her true passion is her service to
special needs students at HDC so their parents can attend church. Christina…

Jaely Meeks is our January honoree. Mrs. Meeks is an outstanding
fifth grade teacher at Puesta Del Sol Elementary. In addition, she tutors after
school and teaches English as a second language to parents of the community.
You truly are a leaping leader.

Sandie Smith is Decembers honoree. Sandie is very involved in our community
and (she) gives countless hours to community service including serving as a
Chaplain for California Civitan Service Club and is 2nd Vice President of
Victor Valley Community Services Council.
 




Rebecca “Becca” Ness is November’s Leaping Leader.

Becca Ness is Director of Pupil Services for Adelanto School District
and a devoted volunteer for High Desert Relative Caregivers (HDRC).
More than 60 families with nearly 200 children have benefited from Becca’s work with HDRC.
